for Athletes and Kids of All Ages.
The Field of the Future program provides grants to install safe, sustainable turf fields in underserved communities across the United States. If your school, park, or community organization needs a safe place for children to play — and lacks the resources to build or maintain a natural grass field — we want to hear from you.
We work with applicants from initial site assessment through installation, and we connect every project with our programming partners so the field keeps serving your community long after the ribbon-cutting.
Who Should Apply
This program is designed for:
- Public schools, charter schools, and school districts with limited or unsafe recreational space
- Municipal parks departments serving underserved neighborhoods
- Nonprofits operating youth-serving facilities
- Community organizations working in high-need areas
We prioritize communities with high youth density, limited existing park access, and conditions — including water scarcity, land constraints, or budget limitations — that make natural grass an unsustainable solution.

What We Fund
Fields of the Future grants support to:
- Site assessment and design consultation
- Full synthetic turf installation at qualifying sites
- Connection to programming partners — including America Scores, Playworks, Boys & Girls Club, and Eat. Learn. Play. — to activate the field with structured and unstructured play
- Long-term maintenance planning guidance

Our goal is not simply to install a field — but to build an asset that serves children, families, and neighborhoods for decades. We look forward to hearing from you.
