Although it was spring break, the third week has been a lot smoother. I am so stoked we axed gamestarmechanic. It was a great tool for game mechanics. I had a blast learning it, creating my own games, and playing the games. I am definitely going to recommend my teens try playing and using on their own. It just always gave me a headache trying to use it at my branch. Well enough dwelling on the past. Our last workshop went fantabulastic!!!! Is that even a word?!? I am just happy my teens were able to play a game!!
So in my last blog I was questioning what I should do with my teens since we were have technical difficulties and they were growing tired of discussing issues.... anyway go read it. Jay for GK came to the rescue and helped me successfully show game vs play and emergence by editing the workshop by using Flow Game. It's up on the group pages now. The teens here were super excited. I literally couldn't get them to stop playing the game. They totally understood the 2 concepts and were enthusiastic about them. YAY!
Can you feel my excitement? lol
ok 1 hour until workshop 5. WOOOHHOOOO! haha I think I had too much caffeine today.
Peace out home skillets.
until next time =)
